Cadence Expands Cleanroom Capabilities

Cadence, Inc. announced plans to enhance its cleanroom capabilities in its Plymouth, Massachusetts and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic facilities to expand support for medical device and life science customers. The enhancements are expected to be completed in early May. Plans include:

  • The addition of a Class 8 cleanroom in Plymouth
  • The expansion of the existing Class 8 cleanroom in Santo Domingo

Cleanroom injection molding with engineered resins will be available on presses ranging from 17 tons to 165 tons in size. The expansion efforts also create dedicated space for cleanroom assembly and automation.
