Phillips Precision Medicraft, a manufacturer of advanced orthopedic implants, instrumentation, sterilization delivery systems, cases and trays, is showcasing several new technologies at OMTEC 2012, from June 13 to 14 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.
Its Delivery Systems/Case and Tray Division introduces Digital Contact Graphics, a full-color, metal-fused graphics technology that provides high-resolution, photo-realistic graphics with superior scratch resistance for long-term durability. Not even sterilization can compromise its quality. Remarkably, this single-step process actually costs less than traditional silk screening.
Phillips Precision Medicraft will also showcase its QR Code technology. QR Codes allow PPM OEMs to distribute information about their products instantly and cost-effectively. From cleaning instructions to training videos, QR Code technology provides doctors and hospital personnel instant easy access to virtually any kind of support, educational or OEM marketing materials simply by scanning the QR Code with any smart phone or iPad equipped to do so.
