Bradshaw Medical to Expand, Add 80-100 Advanced Manufacturing Jobs

Bradshaw Medical will receive a $250,000 forgivable loan through Kenosha County’s High Impact Fund. The company plans to add 80 to 100 fulltime positions over the next 3 years, for an overall staff of 200.

The High Impact Fund was initially funded with a $1,000,000 investment from Kenosha County and is intended to support economic development projects that have a substantial and positive impact on the community in terms of high quality job growth and private investment.

To qualify as “high impact,” a project must meet at least one of the following criteria: (1) the creation of fifty new full-time equivalent positions; or (2) a capital investment of at least three million dollars. A recipient has up to three years to meet the job creation or capital investment requirement but must then maintain the jobs or capital investment in Kenosha County for a minimum of five years. If the recipient successfully meets the project requirements, the loan can be forgiven.

Bradshaw will use its funds to support the development of an innovation center to better serve customers while it focuses on penetrating new markets faster and providing additional services not currently offered. The company specializes in the design and manufacturing of medical instruments serving the orthopaedic and spinal implant industry.
