Arcamed Expands Facility in Indianapolis

Arcamed Manufactures Custom Cases and Trays

Arcamed has converted 6,000 square feet of office space into manufacturing space, supporting expanded instrument and implant manufacturing capabilities and capacity to meet growing customer demand beyond its core business of cases and trays.

Jon Desalvo, President and CEO of Arcamed, said, “We understand that without our partnership focus on the components we provide, our customers are unable to get the high-quality products they need on time and to market. Everyone at Arcamed takes great pride in ensuring that our partners worldwide are completely satisfied from design to delivery. We identified the future need for expansion three years ago and purchased a building that would allow us to grow in conjunction with our partnerships. Arcamed’s commitment to staying fast and focused allows us to stay ahead of the demands.”

The expansion allows Arcamed to more than double its manufacturing capacity, with additional capital spending in the areas of 5-axis milling, Swiss machining, wire EDM, finishing and the addition of a Zeiss coordinate measuring machine. Arcamed’s workforce has already grown by 40% in 2020 to support the additional capacity and customer demands. Trevor Zike, Business Development Manager, said, “As we continue to expand our enterprise, Arcamed has been diligent in its efforts to build and maintain our presence on culture, communication, and responsiveness. Staying up to date with our principles allows us to not only become a valued partner to our customer base, but also a place that people want to work and grow professionally.”
