Tegra Medical, an end-to-end contract manufacturer in the medical device industry, has promoted Walter Gacek to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. After holding several senior level sales management positions since joining the company, most recently Senior Director of Business Development, Gacek now assumes responsibility for all sales and marketing activities for the company’s device manufacturing and Quick Wire and Tubing businesses.
Prior to joining Tegra Medical in 2009 as Business Development Manager in the Western U.S., Gacek spent 15 years with Accellent in various technical sales and sales management roles, including Director of Business Development, where he built and led sales teams across various geographic regions. Earlier in his career, he held sales and technical positions at American Technical Molding, a medical molder acquired by Accellent.
Gacek attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he earned an M.S degree in Plastics Engineering and B.S and M.S degrees in Biological Sciences.
