Exact Metrology, provider of comprehensive metrology services, is growing from three facilities to four by adding a new center in Moline, Illinois, due to an increasing number of clients in the area. Current locations include Brookfield, Wisconsin; Cincinnati, Ohio and an upcoming project in Texas.
The Illinois location will serve as a training, support, contract measurement and sales center. Training will be provided on software packages including Geomagic and PC-DMIS. Geomagic 3D software creates digital models of physical objects for medical and other industries, while PC-DMIS is a dimensional metrology software package.
Hardware classes will be offered for Leica RTC 360, which allows users to document and capture environments in 3D, improving efficiency and productivity through fast, simple-to-use portable hardware and software. Further, Exact Metrology will offer a complete range of portable Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and custom classes for any measurement needed.
Contract services to be offered include CMM measurement, custom programming, inspection and reverse engineering.
At its multiple locations, Exact Metrology offers a complete line of portable scanning and measurement technologies as well as contract measurement services for 3D scanning, reverse engineering, non-contact inspection, 3D digitizing and training.
