Contract Lab Complete Laboratory Solutions Adding 100 New Jobs in Ireland

Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS), Ireland’s largest privately-owned contract laboratory, will create 100 new jobs over the next two years. Established in 1994 in Connemara, with a second facility in Galway, the company presently employs a workforce of 191. Specifically, CLS seeks candidates in microbiology and analytical analysts.

For orthopedic and other medical device companies, CLS offers services that include microbiological and analytical testing, contract research and development, premarket studies, cleanroom environmental monitoring and cleaning validation. They also provide sampling, testing and fully trained analysts on contract. CLS laboratories are accredited and approved by the Irish National Accreditation Board, ISO 17025, FDA, ISO 9001:2015 and the  Health Products Regulatory Authority and are GMP licensed and EPA approved.

Evelyn O’Toole, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, said, “Our workforce expansion demonstrates our maturity as an international player, and we have created the momentum to continue to grow and deliver exceptional service for our clients thanks to the vibrant MedTech industry in Ireland. Today we are a key supplier in the industry catering to multinational companies both here and overseas and this is as a result of us reinvesting in our services to make CLS a substantial, strong and innovative supplier.”

O'Toole added, "We see an upside to Brexit. U.K.-based companies won't be able to release products into the EU without coming through a non-U.K. testing house like ourselves. We've seen a significant uplift in inquiries in the last two years."
