Viant acquired Meraqi Medical to expand its clinical market expertise, global footprint and portfolio of solutions. It is the fourth acquisition that Viant has completed in two years, including Coastal Life Technologies, Vention Medical’s Device Manufacturing Services and Integer’s Advanced Surgical and Orthopedics product lines.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, Meraqi expands Viant’s capabilities in front-end design and development for interventional technologies and bioelectronics, as well as its platform in minimally invasive surgical devices. Meraqi also adds a West Coast design and development (D&D) hub to Viant’s East Coast D&D Center and global network of manufacturing sites.
Meraqi provides product design assistance from early brainstorming, concepting and prototyping to clinical and commercial manufacturing. Meraqi has Class 7 & 8 certified cleanrooms and is ISO 13485:2016 Certified.
Since partnering with Water Street Healthcare Partners and JLL Partners in 2016, Viant has expanded its offerings of design, development and manufacturing capabilities to enhance its expertise in both plastic and metal materials and UHMWPE components.
