Diener Implants, a contract manufacturer for medical devices, appointed Mr. René Pröll as Managing Director. This follows his almost 15 years of experience at Paradigm Spine, an OEM specialized in motion-preserving spinal implants that was acquired by RTI Surgical in 1Q19.
Mr. Pröll served in various leadership roles at Paradigm, most recently as Executive Vice President for Operations & Finance and Site Lead for ex-U.S. operations in Germany. He began his medical device industry experience at Synthes’ Spine Solutions, now Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes.

The news follows Diener Implants’ recent strategic partnership with 3dpac by steripac to offer implants sterile packed to their customers. Diener offers traditional high precision CNC machining as well as additive implant manufacturing using Selective Laser Melting or SLM technology.
