Dymax Corporation has welcomed Dave Koppenhaver as the new Americas Director of Sales. Koppenhaver will be responsible for achieving revenue growth targets in adhesives and equipment, while elevating Dymax commercial effectiveness with partners.
Koppenhaver has held a variety of business management roles throughout his career, including the past 20 years in the industrial manufacturing sector. He has focused on developing strategy, growing national accounts and delivering profit growth.
Dymax has developed SpeedMask® orthopaedic maskants, light-curable medical masking resins that are residue free and offer protection during most surface finishing of knee replacements, hip stems and shoulder implants.
These temporary protective coatings can seal and protect machined, ground or polished surfaces during tumbling, peening, abrading, plating and plasma-spray coatings, as well as cleaning. The solvent-free maskants are applied to components and cure rapidly upon exposure to light energy. Available in burn-off and peelable grades, orthopedic maskants are easily removed and leave surfaces residue free.
