Role Changes at Kyocera Hardcoating Technologies

Kyocera Hardcoating Technologies (KHTL), a division of Kyocera SGS Precision Tools Group, is pleased to announce personnel changes at the coating division in Munroe Falls, Ohio.

Jim Haag, current President of KHTL, is retiring after 35 years of service in the industry with SGS Tool Company, Hardcoating Technologies and Kyocera Industrial Tool Group. He was the first employee of Hardcoating Technologies when the company launched in 1996, and has maintained his leadership role in this successful operation for over 20 years. With his retirement, Greg Minnich has been promoted to President of KHTL.

Minnich has served as Vice President at KHTL since October 2018. His career includes over 25 years of experience in PVD coatings in roles at Oerlikon Balzers and a private-held insert manufacturer.

Kyocera Hardcoating Technologies, a division of Kyocera SGS Precision Tools Group, was founded in 1996 as a full-service PVD-coating provider serving the cutting tool market and other industries.
