Amplify Surgical’s dualX Dual Expanding Interbody Fusion Used in First Cases

Amplify Surgical successfully completed initial surgical cases with the dualX™ Dual Expanding Interbody Fusion System, in LLIF and TLIF procedures.

dualX titanium devices can expand in two independent directions: laterally, then vertically with lordosis to support restoration of sagittal alignment. Designs address transforaminal, posterior and lateral lumbar interbody fusion procedures. The portfolio contains varying footprints, heights and degrees of lordosis, all with post-expansion bone grafting.

The system, which is presently in limited U.S. launch, will be released fully in 2Q19.

Amplify Surgical is the new name for Innovasive, which rebranded earlier this year.
