Harvey Performance Acquires Micro 100

Harvey Performance Company, a provider of specialized cutting tools for precision machining applications, announced the acquisition of carbide cutting tool manufacturer Micro 100.

Based in Meridian, Idaho, Micro 100 specializes in internal boring, grooving and threading and milling tools. According to Harvey Performance leadership, Micro 100’s products complement its Harvey Tool division miniature and specialty profile tooling and Helical Solutions division high-performance end mill selection.

According to Harvey Performance leadership, Micro 100’s product line, particularly its strong focus in turning tooling, will allow for offer additional capabilities and value to Harvey Performance distributors and end users—significantly increasing market opportunity.

Pete Jenkins, CEO of Harvey Performance, said that the acquisition of Micro 100 “better positions Harvey Performance and its brands to compete and grow. One thing that is a constant in our business is change, with regular consolidation amongst our competitors, our distributors and our end users.
