Precision ADM Attains Titanium AM Validation of EOS M290 3D Printers

Precision ADM, a contract manufacturer specializing in additive manufacturing (AM), has successfully completed Titanium AM process validation for Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and baseline Performance Qualification (PQ) for its EOS M290 3D printers.

As part of the Validation Master Plan, Precision ADM worked with EOS’ Additive Minds specialty consulting unit.

In conjunction with this printer validation, Precision ADM has published a new white paper titled “The Importance of Process Validation in Additive Manufacturing.” According to the company, the white paper explains the importance of achieving a process validation for AM, the method Precision ADM used to do so, the results of various tensile and density tests, as well as showing complexities and hurdles that need to be overcome.

Along with AM, Precision ADM’s capabilities include subtractive multi-axis machining, design and testing services. Precision ADM was the first Canadian provider of metal additive and subtractive manufacturing services to achieve ISO 13485:2016 Certification and is also ISO 9001:2008 Certified.
