Sanford Process Awarded South Korean Patent for MICRALOX Anodic Coating Technology

Sanford Process Corporation, a sister company of Precision Coating, was awarded a South Korean patent for intellectual property protection of its MICRALOX® microcrystalline anodic coating technology.

Patent 10-1871702 extends coverage beyond previously issued patents in the U.S., Japan and China.

MICRALOX is an anti-corrosive coating designed to protect medical devices from high-Ph cleaning (harsh chemicals and detergents) and sterilization protocols (steam).

Sanford Process Corporation provides hard-coat anodizing solutions, as well as licenses Precision Coating’s intellectual property to both OEMs and contract manufacturers. Precision Coating is a provider of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coatings, technical aluminum anodizing, permanent printing and other related services.
