In’Tech Medical to Acquire Bradshaw Medical

In’Tech Medical—a contract manufacturer of orthopaedic and spine implants and instruments—has entered into an agreement to acquire Bradshaw Medical. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Bradshaw is a contract manufacturer of instruments, including ratchet and torque devices. The company boasts a specialty in highly-customizable silicone overmolded solutions, a capability highlighted by Laurent Provost, President of In’Tech, in comments accompanying the transaction.

The transaction is in line with In’Tech’s focus on global expansion. In October 2017 the company acquired Pyxidis, a French manufacturer of customized metal and plastic sterilization cases and trays for surgical instruments. In’Tech increased its geographic reach through acquisitions of Malaysia-based Ortho Solutions in 2016 and U.S. company Turner Medical in 2015. It also recently partnered with Eurazeo PME, giving the investment firm 80% of shareholder control. In’Tech gained access to Eurazeo’s business skills and international network.

In’Tech has over 800 employees in facilities in the U.S. (Alabama, Pennsylvania and Tennessee), France (Rang-du-Fliers and Toulon) and Malaysia (Penang). The company projects its 2018 revenue to be approximately $120MM.

ORTHOWORLD estimates Bradshaw’s annual revenue between $25MM and $30MM.
