The Bridgeport, Connecticut facility of NN, Inc., a global contract manufacturer, received the Medical Devices Single Audit Program (MDSAP) certification. The facility is part of NN’s Life Sciences division.
This certification allows NNÂ Life Sciences to meet the regulatory needs of multiple countries with a single audit in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan and the U.S. This strategic initiative also allows NN Life Sciences to sell more of its products into new markets using its existing regulatory program.
NN designs and manufactures high-precision components and assemblies for a variety of global markets, including orthopaedics. The company has 44 facilities in North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, South America and China.
NN recently acquired Paragon Medical and Bridgemedica, significantly increasing its presence in the orthopaedic market.
