Modern Plastics, a member of the International Association of Plastics Distributors (IAPD), was asked to display products this week in Washington D.C. as a part of an educational event for U.S. elected officials. Members of IAPD joined together at the capital to speak with senators and representatives about the plastics industry and legislative matters that affect the industry.
Modern Plastics exhibited various plastic parts for the medical, aerospace, and gas and oil exploration fields. The exhibit was displayed at the Rayburn House, a high-traffic area for members of the House of Representatives, as a part of the IAPD Fly-In event to lobby for plastic industry issues.
