Sawbones has launched the TKS Total Knee System, a new holder for demo and workshop training on total knee arthroplasty procedures.
Benefits of TKS include stability while cutting, support for rotation of hip and knee through a complete range of motion, ability to train on navigation procedures, ease of set-up, compact storage and a clamping system that adjusts to variety of tables.
For over three decades, Sawbones, the originators of hands-on workshop models, has offered high quality medical models for orthopaedic and medical education. Sawbones models have been specifically developed for use in motor skills exercises where a realistic artificial anatomical model is required for the hands-on teaching of surgical procedures.
