Autocam Medical added a 27,000 square foot facility to its operations in Plymouth, Massachusetts, at 71 Industrial Drive. Located one mile from Autocam’s first Aldrin Road building in Plymouth, this represents the company’s seventh site, following headquarters in Michigan, three other North American sites (California, Massachusetts and Tennessee) and two ex-U.S. locations (Brazil and China).
Machine transfers are in progress and the company expects its Swiss value stream to be transferred to the new building by mid-June 2017.
Autocam Medical’s core capabilities include CNC milling, turning, mill/turn and cutter-grinding of all surgical-grade materials, from titanium to high-performance specialty alloys and plastics.
