Arcam subsidiary AP&C, based in Montreal, Canada, has begun to build its second powder plant in Saint-Eustache, Québec. APC plans to invest up to CAD 31MM (~US $24MM) in the facility and create 106 new jobs, in addition to the 85 people currently employed, within the next three years.
AP&C specializes in plasma-atomized metal powders for Additive Manufacturing, serving customers in the aerospace and orthopaedic industries. The company announced plans to increase its facility and financing for the project, earlier this year.
