Cadence Completes Move into New Wisconsin Facility

Cadence has completed its move into a new 63,000-square-foot facility located in Sturgeon Bay Industrial Park in Wisconsin. A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, July 26.

“I would like to thank all of our employees and customers for their support over the past year,” said Sandy Sekadlo, Vice President of Manufacturing for Cadence Wis. “With nearly three times the footprint of the previous building, we are excited about our increased production capacity. We are very proud of our new facility and look forward to showcasing our core capabilities in precision and microstamping, multi-slide forming, injection and insert molding, and automated assembly.”

In May 2016, Cadence enhanced its cleanroom capabilities as part of a plan to expand their support to medical device and life science customers. Prior to that, in August 2014, Cadence acquired its Santo Domingo site as part of a three facility acquisition from Plainfield Precision. The acquisition expanded Cadence’s global presence and allowed the company to obtain new capabilities in Precision Plastic Injection Molding and Metal Stamping.

Many supplier firms are expanding or engaging in M&A activity to keep pace with consolidation at the payor and OEM level.
