Restoration Medical Polymers Relocating to Whitley County, Indiana

Restoration Medical Polymers (RMP) will invest up to $7.1 million in a new corporate HQ/manufacturing facility in Whitley County, Indiana.

RMP will construct a 36,000-square-foot facility in the Park 30 Industrial Park in Whitley County, housing corporate headquarters, a testing lab and manufacturing facility for human implantable medical grade polymers. The company plans to have the facility occupied by late 2016, with production starting in early 2017. By 2019, the company plans to support up to 20 full time employees, mostly highly-skilled technicians and engineers.

Currently located in the Orthovation Center, a business incubator supported by Micropulse, RMP has focused on market research, consulting and business plan development with the support of the center. In 2016, RMP plans to start working with customers to develop materials and processes that fit their immediate needs in the rapidly advancing polymer market.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Restoration Medical Polymers up to $185,000 in performance-based tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans.
