Oberg Industries officially commenced construction for a new multi-function manufacturing facility at their Sarver, PA location. Oberg is a full-service contract manufacturer of precision metal components, tooling and stamping assemblies for over 67 years.

BONEZONE has shared details of Oberg’s growth over the years, adding new customers, employees and equipment to provide more services to support their diverse customer base.

Eric Oberg, Chairman of the Board for Oberg Industries, said, “This expansion project represents a measure of confidence in our talented employees, the continued success of our customer partners, and growth of our business and to this region in continuing to lead advanced manufacturing on a global scale.”

This building expansion will give Oberg more than 80,000 square feet of additional floor space to expand their manufacturing operations and new product development efforts.

“The new building will give us room to expand for future growth as well as do more cellular manufacturing to increase efficiency,” said David Bonvenuto, Oberg’s President and CEO. “This will allow the company to be more flexible on its manufacturing floor, handle larger projects, and be more cost competitive in addition to adding physical space to increase our employee development training areas,” Bonvenuto added.

Oberg’s new facility is expected to open in the spring of 2016. The company is recruiting personnel for several open manufacturing positions needed to support this capacity expansion.
