Medical Component Specialists Introduces Mandrel Quick Ship Program

Medical Component Specialists (MCS) is launching a mandrel Quick Ship Program (QSP). The QSP includes both standard and French size catheter forming mandrels that are ready to ship.

MCS has developed Ultra-Polish mandrels that may eliminate the need for PTFE coating (depending on the application), according to the company. Varieties up to .419 inches in diameter (French size 32) are included in QSP. MCS also offers its “Lab in a Bag” kits containing pre-packaged ranges of diameters for convenience and flexibility.

MCS designs and manufactures medical components including mandrels, pins, medical drills and staples for orthopedic and interventional applications. MCS also possesses laser processing, grinding and CNC machining capabilities.
