Arcam’s AP&C powder manufacturing subsidiary has received a significant order for MIM (Metal Injection Molding) applications, establishing AP&CÂ as a major supplier in the MIM application field and building on its presence in supply of product for Additive Manufacturing applications.
The 30-ton order for Ti6Al4V MIM powder is to be delivered during 2017.
AP&C was acquired by Arcam in 2014, having supplied titanium powders to Arcam since 2006, and is strategically partnered under Arcam with DiSanto Technology in Shelton, CT.
