Croom Precision Medical, a contract manufacturer of orthopaedic devices and custom tooling, is expanding its Limerick, Ireland facility.
Croom’s new Research, Development & Innovation facility—to be complete by 3Q19—will house state-of-the-art automation lines as well as advanced technologies such as expansion in multi-axis CNC milling and additive manufacturing.
The company is ISO 13485 and 9001 Certified and its customers include DePuy Synthes, Stryker and Zimmer Biomet.
Manufacturing capabilities include:
- 5-axis CNC milling
- Additive manufacturing
- 12-axis CNC Swiss auto-turning
- 3-axis surface grinding
- EDM, ECM
- Laser marking
- Automated ultrasonic cleaning
- Finishing and surface treatment
