SLM Solutions has moved into a new US $28MM global headquarters in Lübeck, Germany.
The 270,000-square-foot facility represents a 56% increase in space over SLM Solutions’ previous HQ, and has room for further expansions in line with its growth strategy, the company says.
SLM’s new HQ includes an additive manufacturing applications technology center to help customers develop process and streamline production workflows using SLM’s portfolio of selective laser melting systems. The facility also features dedicated classrooms with machines installed to train and consult customers end-to-end, as well as space for corporate sales and administration offices and a spare parts warehouse and service department.
SLM Solutions produces laser machines for metal-based additive manufacturing for customers in the healthcare, aerospace, energy and automotive industries.
