Materialise has expanded its offerings in the U.S. to include patient-specific osteotomy guides to treat adult metacarpal/phalange and clavicle bone deformities. The guides expand surgeons’ access to 3D printing technology that has been used to correct complex bone deformities in other areas of the body.
To date, Materialise has supported more than 1,000 adult osteotomy consultations. With the addition of the new metacarpal/phalange and clavicle guides, more cases will be eligible for planning through this 3D printing technology.
