Orchid Design announced the hiring of a new Director of Engineering. Brandon Beckendorf will oversee the development of orthopaedic and spine products for the Shelton, Connecticut design center. He comes to Orchid with product development experience from OsteoMed and Arthrex, and a strong understanding of FDA regulations.

His demonstrated leadership and product development expertise will expand our capabilities to drive new products to market for our customers,” said Steve Maguire, General Manager for Orchid Design.
Orchid Design is a division of Orchid Orthopedic Solutions and specializes in streamlining the pathway to commercial launch for device companies. Orchid has two design centers focused on the orthopaedic device market, located in Shelton and in Memphis, Tennessee.
