Boston Centerless Adds a Material Validation Center

Boston Centerless, a precision bar materials supplier, has added a Material Validation Center to its operation. This new center allows the company the ability to verify the identity and integrity of the precision bar products either manufactured by Boston Centerless or customer-supplied.

Specifically, the equipment can test for internal and surface defects as well as alloy verification. Services include Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current Testing and XRF Alloy Verification. Laser marking with customer-specific identifiers is also available.

Worldwide, Boston Centerless supplies customers with precision bar materials for close tolerance CNC Swiss machining applications. The company also provides grinding services, CNC Swiss consulting and manufactures a line of ultra-precise gages.
