Medical Tracking Solutions, developers of iTraycer, announced the addition of Vertera Spine to the company’s client roster. iTraycer is an inventory management system that provides real-time tracking of medical devices and biologics – visible by part, lot, and serial numbers – from manufacturer to patient.
Vertera Spine is working to develop and commercialize a portfolio of surgical solutions that use or complement the company’s patented porous surface technology. Vertera Spine’s COHERE™ Cervical Interbody Fusion Device is a porous all-polyetherether ketone (PEEK) interbody system for use in anterior cervical discectomy fusion procedures. The device mimics the physical properties of bone on the surface, while maintaining the mechanical properties of other traditional PEEK devices.
In December 2015, Medical Tracking Solutions announced a partnership with Summit Corporate Services. As a result of that partnership, Summit, a global outsourcing and third party logistics firm, began offering iTraycer to its clients.
