In'Tech Medical Acquires Turner Medical

In'Tech Medical, a Europe-based manufacturer of orthopaedic instruments, acquired contract manufacturer Turner Medical, yielding the world's reportedly largest provider of spine surgical instruments. In'Tech's 2015 consolidated sales forecast is now US $65MM, equally divided between Europe and the U.S. Turner Medical will function as a wholly-owned In'Tech subsidiary from its headquarters in Alabama, under its current name.

In'Tech Medical claims itself as the #1 contract manufacturer in Europe, and the company maintains a significant U.S. presence. The Turner Medical acquisition supports In'Tech Medical's manufacturing capabilities, expands its U.S. business and global capacity and adds the manufacturing of orthopaedic implants to its core business.

Turner Medical was founded in 1985, and is ISO 13485 certified and FDA Registered. For the past 6 years, the company has focused solely on the manufacture of orthopaedic implants and instruments. Turner Medical will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of In'Tech Medical from its headquarters in Athens, Alabama, under its current name, becoming the U.S. platform for the newly-formed group.

In'Tech Medical's 2015 consolidated sales forecast is now $65 million, balanced equally between Europe and the U.S., supported by ~500 employees globally.
