Mr. Frank D. Noone, former Director of Sales and Marketing for Triangle, has joined the Five Star Companies as the Vice President of Advanced Surgical Sales.
“We are excited to have Frank join us, as he is a proven performer in the medical contract manufacturing space with a solid reputation in our industry for integrity and hard work,” said John Camara, President of Five Star Surgical.
“Five Star is positioned for growth and adding Frank as a key part of our already strong management team will help us to develop a long term growth plan into spine, trauma and sports med,” said David Cabral, President of Five Star Manufacturing. “Frank will be part of our new leadership initiative that will grow both branches of our company and strengthen our strategic partnerships and customer focus.”
Mr. Noone has enjoyed 20 years in sales leadership roles in the medical device and technology industries. Prior to joining Five Star, Mr. Noone was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Pro-Dex, Inc., a publicly traded Irvine, CA-based company that designs, develops and manufactures powered surgical devices for world-class medical device OEMs. While in that position Mr. Noone led Pro-Dex in a turnaround and developed their long term strategic objectives.
Previously, Mr. Noone has also served as a leader in the Global Instrument business as the Vice President of Instrument Sales at Symmetry Medical, Inc., (now Tecomet) a medical device provider of orthopedic implants, surgical instruments, and sterilization cases and trays. Mr. Noone led their strategic sales growth in endoscopic instruments, spine, sterile packaging solutions and professional services.
Mr. Noone has also served as Manager of New Business Development at STD Med, Inc., a Massachusetts-based medical device contract manufacturer. Prior to his career in medical devices, Mr. Noone was Director of Professional Services for CBE Technologies an IT services provider. Mr. Noone earned his MBA in 2002 with a focus on International Business at Anna Maria College and a Masters in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College in 1988, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Stonehill College.
